In my recent attempts to becoming a "Domestic Goddess" I have started collecting and trying out new recipes.  My wonderful boyfriend gave my a Crockpot for Christmas so we will start collecting new recipes for this also!

Feel free to share some of your recipes with me too, I would love to try them!

Recipe: Chicken Hoochie Coochie
From the Kitchen of: Missy Holley Ruddle
Ingredients:
·        2 eggs
·        Italian Cracker Crumbs
·        ¼ cup oil
·        2 cans tomato sauce (I use 3)
·        4-6 slices mozzarella cheese
·        6 boneless chicken breasts
·        ½ t. basil
·        ½ t. garlic salt
·        ½ cup parmesan cheese
·        1 tsp. oregano 
Preparation:
·        Beat eggs and salt and pepper them.
·        Dip chicken in eggs and then cover with cracker crumbs.
·        Heat ¼ cup oil and cook chicken in greased baking dish.
·        Add tomato sauce, basil, garlic salt and oregano to hot oil. Heat.
·        Then cover chicken with this mixture.
·        Cover with parmesan cheese.
·        Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 50 min.
·        Cover with mozzarella cheese and put back in for 10 minutes.
*** Serve with spaghetti and garlic bread


Crockpot

Recipe:  Baked Potato Soup for the Crockpot
From the Kitchen of: Fix it and Forget It 
Ingredients:
·         4 large baked potatoes
·        2/3 cup butter
·        2/3 cup flour
·        6 cups milk, whole or 2%
·        ¾ tsp. salt
·        ½ tsp. pepper
·        4 green onions, chopped
·        12 slices bacon, friend and crumbled
·        2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
·        1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
Preparation:
·        Cut potatoes in half.  Scoop out pulp and put in small bowl.
·        Melt butter in large kettle. Add flour. Gradually stir in milk. Continue to stir until smooth, thickened, and bubbly.
·        Stir in potato pulp, salt, pepper, and three-quarters of the onions, bacon, and cheese. Cook until heated. Stir in sour cream.
·        Transfer to slow cooker set on Low. Top with remaining onions, bacon, and cheese. Take to a potluck, or serve on a buffet table straight from the cooker.

***Add several slices of Velveeta cheese to make soup
extra cheesy and creamy.
